“Lungs” is an illustration created for the final project of the 5-hour course “Visual Narrative & Composition” commissioned by Crehana Education. The goal of this workshop is to teach the alumni to create a contrasting image using matte painting techniques in Adobe Photoshop. This project belongs to the practical part of the workshop. The first hours of the course consists in theory about image composition, color theory and psychology, communication and language. The pupils have to replicate the same image with the photographic resources provided, or they can either create their own unique artwork.
