FRAGILE STRENGTH: New Art Exhibitions on Mental Health

I’m beyond thrilled to announce that my work is currently on display as part of Fragile Strength, a groundbreaking project by Artlune focusing on male mental health and the power of vulnerability. This series of three exhibitions—spanning India and the UK—aims to challenge the stigma around men’s emotional well-being and empower us all to #ownyourfeelings.

My surrealistic pieces explore what I call “invincible fragility”—the paradoxical notion that our most delicate emotions can become an unstoppable force for transformation. Through layered imagery and symbolism, I delve into the complexities of male mental health, illustrating how vulnerability can be harnessed as a source of strength rather than weakness.

In addition to exhibiting some of my most iconic pieces, I’ve curated several triptychs from my past works, creating entirely new narratives. By juxtaposing these older artworks in fresh contexts, I reveal previously untold stories and unexplored connections. Each piece speaks to the others, weaving a cohesive dialogue about internal struggles, perseverance, and self-discovery. This interplay not only highlights the emotional journey central to male mental health but also underscores the transformative power of art to reshape how we see ourselves and each other.

I’m honored to have my work featured at the Galerie Romain Rolland, Alliance Francaise de Delhi, from January 10 to January 24, 2025. In my recent interview with Artlune (which you can watch here), I discuss how embracing vulnerability can spark creative expression and contribute to critical conversations around men’s mental health.

Fragile Strength doesn’t stop there. The exhibit then moves to Instituto Cervantes, New Delhi, from February 15 to February 28, 2025, before culminating in the UK at The Minories, Colchester, from June 21 to July 27, 2025. Throughout these shows, Artlune will be collaborating with local communities and mental health experts, shining a much-needed spotlight on the emotional challenges men often face—and the courage it takes to overcome them.

If you’re in New Delhi, I invite you to come see my work at the Alliance Francaise de Delhi and join the conversation on how art can help us recognize and celebrate our own “invincible fragility.” I truly believe that by opening up about our inner worlds, we can foster empathy, break the silence, and ultimately transform the narrative around male mental health.

Thank you for supporting this journey, and I look forward to sharing more insights in the months ahead. Let’s stand together and own our feelings—one piece of art at a time.
