Digital Dreams Exhibition – Perinnye Ryady, St. Petersburg (Russia)

After holding several retrospectives of world renowned artists such as Picasso, Dalí or Magritte, the Perinnye Ryady Art Center in St. Petersburg in Russia will hold one of the biggest collective exhibitions about digital art to date: Digital Dreams.

Art Center in Perinnye Ryady is a popular exhibition space located in the center of St. Petersburg. For more than five years, they have been offering to the public various interactive photo projects (International Photo Festival “100 Wonders of the World”), as well as temporary exhibitions of world-famous artists (Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall, etc.). Now they are developing a new art project, “Digital Dreams”. Within the limits of a vast exposition, they intend to unite selected works, performed in the technique of computer graphics and photo art. The general theme of the forthcoming exhibition is surrealism and dreams. Digital art traditionally slips the attention of exhibition spaces and galleries, so the project is supposed to let broad audiences appreciate its unique artistic potential and make a journey through virtual spaces born in the minds of the most talented contemporary artists, that will include artworks from artists from more than 70 countries, among others, the works of Mario Sánchez Nevado, Igor Morski, Adam Martinakis or Carlos Quevedo.
