New Mailing List: Be the first to receive Art News and Shop Discounts!
Recently, I have started to share my content more on my website and less on social media. The algorithms are making it very hard to catch up with people we follow, so having a small but dedicated fanbase can be more important than having tens of thousands of followers on social media that will never receive your content in their feeds. It’s getting very discouraging day after day, and despite efforts to be up to date with everything social media related, it’s incredibly time consuming and the results are discouraging, so from now on I will be focusing on my website and this new mailing list.
If you sign up, every month you will receive in your inbox a summary of my latest posts, news, event dates and so on, and probably some exclusive stuff that I won’t post elsewhere, as a way of thanking you people for sticking with me (think of a Patreon-like, but free). Also, every issue of the newsletter will contain a new discount code for my store. In fact, just for signing up as a token of my gratitude, you will automatically receive a 10% off your next purchase in prints and apparel from my shop. Also, every once in a while I might share some important info through there, like live streamings, events, exhibitions or workshops that are time sensitive, so you don’t miss a thing 🙂
There won’t be any spam and if any month there’s not enough content to share, whatever is left will be rolled up to next issue, so I can make sure that each newsletter is filled with quality content related to what I create as an artist. If the Newsletter proves successful, I might consider offering Photoshop and Image Composition Tips & Tricks from time to time again.
Of course, I will still post stuff on social media, but just be sure that the website and the newsletter will have everything released way before they hit the algorithms of my Instagram, Facebook or Twitter. It just steals so much time, that I can hardly find moments to sit down and create.
I know that making people engage via blog posts and newsletters is a difficult task, but I’d rather have control over what I share and to whom I share it, so I don’t spend hours upon hours of programming posts and making marketing strategies on social media that go nowhere.
I hope you come to ride along with me in this new chapter. I’ll keep you posted and again, thank you very much for your support! ♥️
