“Moods” is a photo illustration series created for the final project of the 5-hour course “Color Theory & Digital Management” commissioned by Crehana Education. The goal of this workshop is to teach the alumni to create a contrasting image series using matte painting techniques in Adobe Photoshop. This project belongs to the practical part of the workshop. The first hours of the course consist in theory about image composition, color theory and psychology, communication and language. The pupils have to create a total of six images depicting different mental statuses by using different color palettes to portrait them. As a bonus, they are allowed to change up to three compositive elements to enhance the meaning of each image.
